Round two of the British Ladies Championship was held last Sunday at Sharpcliffe Hall. Conditions were quite damp with several short sharp showers throughout the day. Becky Cook on her MRS BVM Sherco struggled to get into a rhythm on the first two laps having some good rides on the more difficult sections but then throwing it away by having two fives including one for missing a flag. Becky finally got her act together on the final lap helped by minder, Craig Talbot and fellow competitor, Donna Fox to post the best lap score of just three marks. It wasn’t enough though and Becky had to settle for second behind Joanne Coles.
Becky and Craig set off this week to Italy for the first round of the European Ladies Championship on Saturday.
