Becky Cook has just signed a deal to continue riding for the Spanish Sherco factory and Malcolm Rathmell Sport.

The vastly experienced Sherco rider, who has won six British Championships and finished 2nd in the World Championship for the last three years, has signed a contract for

the 2011 season.  She will be receiving bikes prepared by the factory technician, Josep Paxau and will ride directly for the factory, as well as contesting events in the UK.  BVM Moto, who have supported Becky for many years now will continue to help her and her minder, Craig Talbot, does indeed work at BVM himself.

The factory think a lot about Becky, who goes about her business in a very professional and quiet way, very similar to a previous Sherco British Champion – Graham Jarvis. World Championship contender, Albert Cabestany and his minder, Luis Gallach always put themselves out for Becky at world rounds and after visiting Paxau’s workshop during the season for special tuning on her 290, Josep Paxau is happy to prepare bikes especially for her.

Becky has shown a lot of  lads how to ride the Expert B Class this year and, with this being a lot harder than the Ladies Championship, she is looking forward to contesting this again next year.

For all you lads who would like to see how a Sherco should be ridden come along to the Sherco Weekend Extravaganza where Becky will be in action and, no doubt, showing a few of the MRS riders how it should be done!!
