The final round of the British Ladies Championship took place last weekend on Becky Cook’s home ground on the Isle of Wight, where once again she finished on top.

Riding her MRS BVM Sherco, Becky’s first lap didn’t go particularly well as she got off line on section three on the first lap and ended up crashing back down the cliff face. A two on the awkward rocks of section six and a three on the logs at ten didn’t help either and she ended the first lap on twelve with Donna Fox close behind on fifteen.

Becky’s second lap went better only dropping four, another two on the section six and a slack two on section nine. Donna lapped for thirteen giving Becky a healthy lead going into the final lap.

She finally cleaned section six this time but had a dab on sections nine and ten for a lap of two. Her final score of eighteen was good enough for the win to complete her unbeaten run in this year’s championship. Donna finished second on forty two with Emma Bristow third on fifty six.
